Blogging is yet another great way to make money online. Its success
largely depends on its content, size of your readership, proper
promotion, and constant update. If have just set up your blog and are
clueless on what to do next, these 3 best ways can shed some light:
1. Pay attention to your post titles. How do you do
your Google search? What kind of keywords or key phrases that you use?
For example, if you are trying to look up for topics related to blog,
do you search the word "blog" alone? That would give you enormous
results. But if you streamline your search and make it "advance
blogging tips", you will definitely find relevant websites and
articles. This should be your guide when writing your titles. Keep in
mind how your readers will search for particular information and
smartly guess the keywords or key phrases that they will use so your
blog will appear on search page results.
2. Know the right time to promote your blog. Some
bloggers who are so excited to get the word out about their new set up
blog, do the promotion before the right time. When is the right time?
Before your promote your blog make sure that it has at least 5 useful
articles, welcome messages not included. Also, your blog must be
already functional, meaning it has no broken links and all sections are
properly working. If you promote your blog during its testing stage,
online users who will visit it might get disappointed and never come
back.
3. Submit your blog to search engines and
directories. Submitting your blog to these sites is fairly easy; the
difficult part is ensuring that they will be accepted. To increase your
chances, make sure that your blog is already optimized and has at least
5 links coming from well-established sites.
